So I read around the internet and it looks like A LOT of people have been converting internal HDD to external HDD for years. What I can't seem to find though is how to do it without needing to add an AC plug to the mix.
I was curious to why it had to be AC powered, and not like premade external HDD where they are USB powered.
So is there a way to create my HDD into an external one without needing to connect it into a power supply?
