Hi just installed new mono n CPU but now I experience occasional freeze. Had to force power off. Is there a diag software to find out what is causing it?

Intel i5 3470
MSI h61ee w8

Old ram 2×4gb g.skill 1333
Old sad
Old HDD
Old GPU HD 5770

Temp is under 69celcius at peak.
Not over clocking anything.
Freeze twice in 3 days while playing guild wars 2.

Old system never had this problem.

Thanks.

No I didn't. Installed Ethernet and audio drivers only.
Oh also new PSU but I don't remember PSU specs.

There could be issues with chipset drivers and a few other things on the motherboard. Normally I re-install the OS whenever I change out the motherboard. You can get away without re-installing, but I think in your case your issues could be fixed by a re-install.

Does it freeze in other games as well? You might try installing the MB drivers from the MB manufacturers website and see if this helps.

I ran intelburn and it's stable. So far no freezes. Once that happens, I will reinstall OS (win7 64bit). Thanks!

Edit: it happened again after several hours of gaming (guild wars 2).
Tearing noise through speakers, screen turned black and system powered off by itself after 2-5 seconds. Really scary, never experienced that before. Hopefully it's just the OS and not the new mobo+cpu or my old GPU.

Edit: it happened yet again, few moments after (above). This time mouse+keyboard and screen frozen then system shutdown itself. F-ing weird.
I will reinstall OS this afternoon and hopefully after that it will be all clear.
