- I don't think an X79 build is really what you want to be looking for unless you have substantial non-gaming use that requires a 3930K. You should be looking at a Z77 and a 3570K, or even better, simply waiting a little (Haswell drops literally in days) and doing a Z87 and seeing where the Haswell CPUs shake out.

- I think you're overbuying on your GPU considering you're using one monitor at 1080p.

- At this price, you ought to have an SSD in the mix.

To be honest, it looks to me like you're overbuying and getting too many things that will have a very limited effect on your real-life gaming performance. Free advice is worth just that, of course, but unless you have particular configurations (3 monitors) or specialized needs (high-end rendering, etc), once you get past $2000, you're really spending money without much in the way of marginal games.

Personally I would build your own for A LOT less! You will learn in the process and will know more about computers than you did before. I don't see why you would spend that much when you could spend <$2.5k and still have an extremely good PC. It's up to you, but I would build it myself.

Here is a Triple monitor setup :)

* CPU will do just fine for this setup ~i5 3570k
* RAM is plenty for this type of build, you could go to 16 gb's, but I don't think it's needed unless your doing some heavy rendering.
* Mobo comes w/2 x 16x PCI-e lanes, so you can tap into both GPU's performance!
* SSD is of good size and price and will hold your OS, most games, and apps.
* GPU's are one of the best for the $ and will allow your Triple monitor setup to do quite well!
* Case is quite well and has a bundled rebate with the PSU listed.
* PSU is plenty for this setup and comes w/a 5 yr. warranty too!
* Included BluRay drive, in case you want to watch BluRay movies, if not a standard $15-20 drive will do.
* OS is my choice, but you can go with Windows 8 if you like.
* 3 x 23.6" Monitors, so you can have a gaming experience that you normally wouldn't have with the pre-built you listed!

Haswell should be out within a week so wait if you can. If not:
