i7-3612qm Normal Temperatures ? (Laptop)

I was just wondering the normal temperatures of the 3612qm, I have a Lenovo e430 and with just chrome and a stream open I average around 39 - 50 on all the cores in HW Monitor .

Idle with me just turning it on and turning on HWmonitor about 39 to 45ish .

Stress, I don't really know how to test that .

I opened 7 tabs on youtube of the same video and it went up to like 55 - 64ish average .

That idle is a little high, but nowhere near worrying.

Opening up lots of youtube tabs isnt really stress, but if it's more than you'll ever do, then it's perfectly fine.

Laptop CPUs are safe from damage under 90C. 85C is pushing it but safe. Under 80C is the sweet spot. You're nicely there.

Maikky, like elemin said, your temps seem fine though they can be a little better. Download and run IPDT from Intel website and it will perform a stress test and the generate a log at the end.

AK139, that is pushing it within 3-4C of TjMax. check your cooling, dust it out and make sure you are not configured tpo be running on passive cooling only.
