Issue with briding, I believe it's an ip conflict?

Basically, I'm having some troubles with my bridging connection. Not but a day or so ago everything worked 100% flawless.

my desktop is sitting wireless right now from the router. I wanted to stream media and streaming wireless as I'm connected didn't seem like a good idea. I connected my old DSL router to my system and set it up to bridge the network, then set up plex to stream through it. I could connect to my own network then and have the internet and plex at optimal speeds.

But, now all of the sudden it just stopped working. I tried most of the day to figure it out. Other computers basically won't pick up the server or even any other means of sharing from my computer that is running this bridged network. The internet goes through it still, but nothing from the computer itself. Both the ethernet and wireless device I use I gave a static IP and the bridge as well. I've tried all 3 ips as a means to connecting. Nothing has worked at all.

Not too mention prior to this I could do the default 192.168.1.1 and connect to the main internet router, but now when I do it. Nothing loads, it starts to and then just does nothing.
What's weirder than that? when I connect to the other network, the main router. and enter the default 192.168.1.1 It will take me initially to my bridged router and then kind of bug out into the main router.

My assumption comes to the fact that this is an IP issue and both routers are responding to 192.168.1.1 and both want "control" over the network.
I looked at changing this on the one router and found nothing, although I don't specifically know what to look for >.>...

Note: the dsl router had a built in function for LAN-WAN Bridging... I enabled that and everything worked fine for several days. All of these current issues just recently showed up, which is why I find this strange.

Bridged router: D-Link DSL-2750B
Main router: Actiontec GT784WNV
Both were/are verizon DSL routers.
OS: windows 7

Another question: which of these 2 routers is the "better" router for wireless usage. 99% of everything being done here is wireless, I feel like mine is better, for one it cost over $100 and for 2 it has a ton of range booster features.
