I recently purchased a seagate expansion external drive 3.o. when I connected it, it showed some software and a folder so I put all the stuff in it in one folder and did not install the software as I don't want to. but forgot to format it. then I transferred 80 gb to it and freed space on my internal. Now I wanted to know it is ok that those software are lying in that folder on external drive. Now as I have tranferred 80 gb into it I don't want to format it now. so can I just delete the particular folder without formatting the whole drive. Or there is no need to delete the folder or format the drive and keep tranferring data to it as usual.

thanks. I am just asking is there no harm in those bundled stuff lying idle in one folder on that external because I forgot to delete them or format the drive when I first used it.
