All,
Randomly (sometimes days apart, sometimes a week), when the machine has been idle awhile (and presumably has gone to sleep, though I've never noticed before this happens), the entire screen will go green. The machine will not respond to mouse or keyboard input, and the only way I can get it back is to force reboot.

After restart, the resolution is 800x600, and the graphics card - Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD7970 GHZ Edition - drivers have reverted to generic Windows VGA monitor drivers.

While I can set the resolution back to normal, regardless of reinstalling the VG drivers and restarting again, it's still the generic Windows drivers, and to make matters worse a bizzarre pattern of lines appears on the screen that makes it unusuable. Only taking it into the shop (it's under warranty) fixes it - but of course they can't reproduce the issue, and it works fine for them there - and for a bit after I get it back.

They've replaced the power supply - no luck. They're going to check it with my keyboard (Razer Black Widow) and mouse (Logitech Performance MX) - anyone heard of any incompatibility between Logitech and the Radeo HD 7970?

I have 16GB RAM; i7; Windows 7 Premium SP1; BenQ E2200HD monitor.

I should mention that this machine is less than 2 months old and this issue has been happening since day 2.

Thanks.
