For my new system should i keep it on windows 7 ultimate x64 or i should go with windows 8 pro x64?

My system:
Intel 3.4 Ghz i5 3570k processor
ASRock Z77 Pro4 Motherboard
Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 660 Windforce OC 2 GB GDDR5 graphics card.
Corsair Vengeance (1 x 8) 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 PC RAM.
Corsair VS650 650 Watt PSU
NZXT Lexa S Cabinet

So windows 7 ultimate x64 or windows 8 pro x64 for my system?

Please suggest which OS will server better in terms of performance.
Also please don't be biased on win 7 because of the interface of win 8 please, PLEASE DO NOT JUDGE ON THE BASIS OF INTERFACE.

Windows 8, performance wise, is better for gaming. I know you said don't judge based on the interface but, i believe with a program like Start Is Back, windows 8 will just be a better over-all OS. Start is back can disable the start screen, disable charms, and give you a start button that is better than the windows 7 one while using all of windows 8's cool features.

All in all, i'd go windows 8 with startisback.
