Sorry, I didn't phrase that question right. I'm using a Cooler Master Storm Scout case and I'm just wondering if there is a "certain port" on the Z77 board I should be using to power the eSATA-600 port on the front of my case?

I couldn't figure out how it could possibly matter, but I read a thread while I was building it that had about 50 different replys on the "correct port", it was just throwing me off. I couldn't figure out why it would make a difference, after all the "e" just means external. Thanks for verifying that for me!

I am an electrician and when you make anything HOT, it doesn't matter what is connected to the other end of it, the line is powered! I don't want to get into semantics with you, I just wondered if there was some mystery that I was missing when I read that 50 comment post about "correct ports". Which is still raging, I'm sure! ;)

The line has a charge on it, ergo it has power, I don't care if you are working on a UFO! I'm well aware of the difference between data transmission and a power connection. I'm not sure if you understand, that it all requires electricity?
