Hello there, let me just start by saying i'm new to Toms Hardware.

Anyways, I would like to build a pc for console like gaming. Since I didn't want the pc to be much larger than for example the new Xbox I thought the Chieftec Flyer Series FI-02BC would fit my needs quite nicely. Also I think I'll be going for the 6800k when it's released. But I have a lingering fear that the 6800k cooler wont be able to fit in the case. Also I'm unsure about which mini itx fm2 motherboard to pick.

So I would like to hear if anyone knew some coolers which would fit inside the FI-02BC case and be able to cool the 6800k and if you have some tips about a good mini itx fm2 motherboard I would be very happy to hear them :)

But PC's perform better than consoles in games, so you're not looking for

console-like gaming surely, but more like console-like size. I don't think you're

setting yourself up for a powerful rig. What's your budget?

When I said console like I ment the form factor and playing games with a controller, sorry for the confusion :)
My budget is around 500 dollars but less is of course better.

the problem with compact gaming is that in order to meet the heat and space requirements, the components tend to cost more. This is why laptops are about 150%+ more expensive than towers. You can get really small in form factor, but the efficient cooling and more powerful components may have significant difficulty in being utilized. The smallest form factor I've seen utilized a separate tower for liquid cooling and tubes to the main computer, so it wasn't a single large tower, but still took up a lot of space. So if this is the direction you want to go, make sure you note your limited space and potential to be held back in overall PC performance & power.

I'm aware that the performance may be lowered due to possible heat problems. But surely there has to be some coolers that would be able to cool the 6800k in the said PC case.
I've had a look at the Silverstone Argon AR01, do you think that would be able to cool the 6800k?

It's like 160mm tall. 160mm = 16cm. Your case is only 9cm wide. 16 > 9 = Won't fit! I just don't think there's enough room to house an adequate cooling system in the case for that CPU. I'm thinking the best you could do is liquid cooling, with the cooling system separated from the tower and only the tube running into the tower to the CPU block.

Are you sure it's sixteen centimeters TALL? That sounds like a gigantic cooler o.O

Got the parts and the pc worked, the cooler was for some reason not 160mm tall so I could fit it inside the case and despite some problems with getting the pc working in the start currently it runs problem free with the stock cooler.. It's really a lovely pc, thank you for all the answers :)
