Desktop resolution resize

My monitor has the resolution of 1920*1080. But due to some problems with the monitor hardware, a small portion of the screen always gets cut. Is there any way to re size the resolution to say 1920*900 or so????

I was able to do that with Intel HD graphics but not with AMD CC.

I use the AMD HD7850 now.

Are you sure you have installed the latest drivers?
Go to amd's website and install the latest catalyst control centre package.
I believe there is also a resize feature in that as well if that doesn't work.
Does your TV have an auto feature?
And go to change resolution in control panel then advanced and change the refresh rate to the max.
Good luck.

My drivers are the latest ones, version 13.4.

I have also tried the auto feature...but it remains the same. I cannot find the re-size option in AMD CC.

Intel HD GFX control had the option to set the horizontal or vertical resolution to "X %"....so that really helped. Is there any such option???

I believe in CCC there is an option to resize the screen. But you said you couldn't find it? What is your current resolution btw?

1920*1080

but i feel a resolution of 1920*850-900 would be perfect...is there a way to do that???
