Can a PCI-E Slot Be Used To Connect A PCI-E 16X Graphics Card?

I wanted this graphics card :
PNY VCQ6000-PB Quadro 6000 Graphic Card - 574 MHz Core 6 GB GDDR5 PCIe which is GDDR5 and my motherboard is DDR3. Then, I read a lot of things and saw a lot of pictures on Google and then I found out that a GDDR (3 or 5) Graphics card can be connected to a DDR3 motherboard by only using the PCI-E 16X Slot. I looked at my motherboard to find a PCI-E 16X slot but I didn't find any PCI-E 16X matching to the pictures I saw on google but only a PCI-E slot which matched the pictures. So can I use only a PCI-E slot to connect a PCI-E 16X Graphics Card?

I will try to update this thread soon.
If there is any way to connect please help.

Thanks.

The different between system RAM and graphic's RAM doesn't affect compatibility any at all. On your case, as long as your motherboard has a full-lenght PCI-E slot :

( the 2nd slot from the top )

and your PSU has 2x 6-pin PCI-E power connectors, then you can get that Quadro card and put it into your system without any problem.

The downmost slot is a Legacy PCI slot ( the white one in the pic below ), not a PCI Express ( PCI-E ) one. You won't be able to fit the card in that slot. What motherboard are you using anyway? It's weird seeing a motherboard that supports DDR3 but lacks PCI-E slot.

Right now, I am at a cousin's house using my laptop so it is difficult to find out.
BTW, there may be a PCI-E slot on my motherboard which I didn't see so next time (around after 3-5 days) I will be back and re-check the whole thing. My cabinet is open from one side so that it stays cool.

And YES, it is EXACTLY the thing I saw.

Can you show me the entire motherboard in the picture you just posted?

Thanks, again.

I know the answer myself, first of all it's not possible to use an ATI/AMD GPU with an Nvidia GPU and this can only be possible with Lucid Logix Hybrid-X which supports only a few motherboards and it allows AMD and Nvidia GPU's to work together using OnBoard Bandwith so I gave up. And then, my motherboard was Intel DH61WW and it had only one PCI-Ex16 Slot which was already being used so I didn't see it.
