No display after installing Sapphire Radeon 7870 GPU

So I recently started my first build and all was going well (i7 2600k, OCZ ZT 650W PSU, windows 7), until I tried installing my GPU(Sapphire Radeon 7870). When the GPU is not plugged in, my computer functions as it should, using the integrated graphics on my CPU, and I've successfully installed and run windows.

However, when I plug in the power from my PSU to my GPU, I can't even get anything to display on my monitor from any of the outputs from either my mobo(MSI z77A-GD55) or my GPU, so I can't exactly go into BIOs. Even if I could, there aren't any helpful options that I could find in MSI's click BIOs 2

I tried installing the drivers without the GPU hooked up, and even with the drivers installed, I get nothing. I just tried disabling the integrated graphics on my CPU, and nothing changed. All my lights and fans are powered on, and the system sounds like it's working fine, but I still get no display from any output port anywhere on my computer. I'm just about positive that I installed the GPU properly in the PCIe slot, and that I have both 6-pin connectors plugged in.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is getting pretty frustrating :/

*EDIT:
So I think I've solved my problem. After messing around with the integrated graphics setting in my BIOs (make sure it's PED, also changed PCI latency to 64 bits, though I doubt this affected anything), I restarted my computer with my monitor hooked up to the HDMI from my GPU, and got it to display, but with messed up resolution. So I uninstalled my ATI drivers(had installed them before I installed my GPU as an attampt to solve problem), rebooted, reinstalled the drivers, and booya--we have a functioning GPU. Hope this helps anyone who's having a similar problem.

I'm having the exact same issue. Were you able to resolve this?
