Definitely go with the 770's. You'll need quite a beefy power supply, at least 900, probably 1000 watts. More importantly, the 770 requires 42 amps on the 12v rail, so take that into consideration. I honestly don't think you need 3 high end graphics cards for one "good" monitor, but that's your choice. Certainly don't get 2 gtx 780's just to run an "average" monitor.
What were the resolutions of the monitors you are debating?
1920x1200, I only have 3 put down because i'm not very prone to updating my parts, i would rather work all one summer and get 3 than have to work some of this summer and some of next summer.
Since posting this i have found a better "good screen" which has 5 ms response, 24", LED backlit, IPS
I plan on getting more screens in the future but i would rather get the expensive stuff out of the way. It is going to take me 10 weeks of work and odd-jobs to get the system, but it would only take 2 weeks to get two new monitors
Believe me i wish i had 12 weeks to work this year, i dont.
