Okay guys in a week im going to upgrade my pc. Current specs:
I5 650 @3.2
Kingston 1333 4Gb ddr3
Gigabyte P55M-UD4
Ultra 500W psu
SLI evga 9800gt
WD Caviar black 500gb
Coolermaster elite 332 case

This is what im planning to upgrade to
I5 3570k (want to oc to 4.2ish with 212 evo)
Corsair xms3 1600 8gb (2x4gb)
Gigabyte z77 not sure which one though
And either the 660 or 660ti. (I hear the ti really slows down with AA though)
And I plan on keeping the psu and hdd. If I've been able to run the 9800 gt's with no problem, I'll be able to run the upgraded rig on the psu too right? Also should I get the 660 or 660 ti?

I would not recommend that you keep the PSU. Without knowing your budget on parts, it's hard to suggest what to get. Please also state your country of residency.

Could you please provide the budget? How much is your dad willing to pay up to?
