First and foremost i should give some background on what i plan on doing with this rig and why i am building it:

I am building this rig mostly for gaming on full HD resolutions and more with multiple monitor setups (eventually (not now)) because for the past 2 years i have been gaming on an Alienware m11x R3 (which is pretty obsolete now), but i will also be compiling java with eclipse, and Android applications with eclipse and a few other IDEs. I will also have a separate Linux partition for compiling kernels and Android OS, so memory is somewhat nice to have. I was originally thinking about going for a haswell build with a gtx 770, but it didn't seem worth it.
