Im not been funny but this game runs at 50 FPS on my very old laptop so what gives? do this game just not like new updated hardware?

Also all my drivers are uptodate... graphic drivers are using the latest beta drivers i also tried to downgrade to earlier drivers but nothing changes... and my cpu temp is low as hell same for graphics card... this is a brand new pc build and every part inside is brand new from scan.co.uk and novatech.com

If anyone know whats wrong here please help I will be forever in your debt :)
Thanks in advance!

The graphics card is hardly low range... its not at the top of high range but its a damn good card (gtx 650 ti) the laptop has a (gtx 650 non ti) thats the only difference apart from the pc is supersuper clocked where the laptop one is not

Relatively slow system and the game is horribly optimized, not alot you can do.

Clock speed is completely meaningless, it just signifies how many times a CPU operates in a given amount of time, it doesn't have anything to do with how fast it is. It's only use is comparing speeds of the same CPU, for example a 3570k at 4.5Ghz is faster than a one at 3.2Ghz, but a 8350 at 3.6Ghz wouldn't be faster than a 3570k at 3.2.

Amd cpu's frequency have nothing to do with intels frequency at all :S you cant compare differnt archietectures by frequency at all. Even a 3.3ghz 3930k will outpreform an 8350 at 4.5ghz hands down. You sir are assuming frequency depicts the speed across all cpu's which is not the case at all. a 3570k @ 3.5ghz beats a 2500k @ 3.5ghz same frequency but 15% increase in performance from archietecture. Do some research

Inaddition most games dont use more than 2 - 4 cores so the extra 2 cores are pretty much useless.

Ideally get an intel but tbh it will be quite expensive as you will need a new MB and a new CPU. Overclocking is always risk and OC that high is quite iffy. I wouldn't risk your build for a rather mediocre game.

There are huge differances between mobile integrated gpu's and actually Graphics cards

I dont think your getting the picture im not here to argue about specs or graphic cards... theres people out there with alot worse systems running this at like 100 fps i just want to know if anyone new any tips apart from buying more parts or changing over to intel.... is there anyway to increase the frams other ways... also changing the arma 2 dayz video options dont change anything in my case i put it all to very high i get 20-25 but everything low and off i get 15-25... so lowering them somewhat decrease my fps... its just odd... it makes no sense at all

yep same settings ive copied the settings from the laptop exactly just to see if i can get around the 50 mark but it dont seem to work on the desktop to me it seems something maybe locked on the desktop stopping it getting the most from the game.. even tho the pc is a hell of a lot faster nothing seems to give... as i said before... changing the ingame settings dont actually give fps... im on high settings at 20-25 fps when i go down to low settings i get 15-20... and thats on dayz and its not that im in a new area or anything i log out change settings log back into the same server at the same place but lower fps on the lowest settings :D
