Hello everyone, this is my first post but I have been lurking around these forums for a good while looking for troubleshooting on issues I had, but it was time to register because I really need some assistance on this computer freezing issue which has no pattern to identify the cause but I have a guess it could be hardware related since I accidentally poured a very small amount of water on top of the Laptop keyboard and I even tried to reformat to factory state but it didn't solve the freezing and I have no knowledge how to confirm this diagnosis, so I humbly request help from anyone who has experience on his side since I cannot rely on mine. :)

On the issue, this freezing happens randomly during 1-2 seconds on whatever I'm doing, be it browsing the web or playing games, but I noticed the freezing intervals augment when the laptop is running hot and my cooling table is running old and dusty but whenever that happened in this past it would just slow down things and not randomly freeze like it's happening now.

My AV scans didn't pick up anything suspicious and it's actively updated. I also run CCleaner to keep registry and such clean, I also tried updating drivers but to no avail.

I'll kindly cope with anyone able to help me with this through so I can solve this smoothly as possible, then if there is need for anything from my side, please request it!

I have a Toshiba Qosmio x770-103 laptop running on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

(I wanted to attach my DxDiag but I cannot find the attach tool :??:)

Solution
Run hd tune check the hard drive smart info and run a vendor test tool. To see if the drive is failing. Run memtest86 to check for bad ram.

I ran an error test on HD tune like you suggested and I have a decent number of damaged sections on the HDD so I will have to replace it with an healthy one, thank you so much for the help!
