GTX 480 or 570 for Adobe CS6?

They both cost $200 but it really comes down to this: Is the extra 5% performance and 256MB or Vram worth the higher energy and noise?

P.S. This will be used for gaming too, so that is why we didn't go with a GTX 660...

Yeah but this is for video editing first. I mean can a 7850 accelerate as well?

For video editing the CUDA cores will help you a lot I suppose. In that case the 570 will be a better option because on Nvidia's website specifications gtx 570 has 480 cuda cores and gtx 480 has only 448
