Computer randomly shutting down

I have built my computer, and it has worked perfectly for about a month, with absolutely no trouble. Last night, I was not doing anything real intensive but my computer randomly shut down. Upon trying to start it back up, nothing would happen when I pushed the power button. I figured it may have overheated so I let it sit overnight. I tried booting it in the morning, and attempted to log in with safe mode. Before I could type in my password, it shut down. I waited a few more hours, this time it booted and stayed on. I downloaded a thermometer application, and my temperatures do not seem to be out of the ordinary. I attempted a few things, such as moving RAM around and it seemed to have little effect. I put it back together, and attempted to boot. It ran for awhile, and I had the thermometer up the whole time and then it shut down. I am kind of stuck. My specs are below. It may not be related but upon my most recent boot I had no Internet access, yet my iPod was working fine. Much appreciated!

AMD FX 4300 processor
Gigabyte 970A-DS3 Mobo
GeForce Gtx 650 ti gc
Corsair CX 500 PSU
TP Link PCI card
Crucial Ballistix Sport 2x4gb ram
Caviar Blue 1 TB hardrive

Well, it has been working for awhile, so why would it suddenly stop? When I loaded the parts into PC part picker it showed that my PSU would provide enough power, and I consulted people on here upon choosing my parts.

Well after many long hours, I discovered the problem was only the power button on my case. The it would short while using it, causing a shutdown. I fixed it by changing the power and reset buttons on the Mobo, as I do not use the reset button anyway. I now can turn on my computer with the reset button and experience no issues. Hopefully this can help anyone with a similar problem.
