Ok. I'm at loss here and will really appreciate any help I can get.

I recently bought a club3d 6850 to put in a crossfire with my old asus 6850. My problem is that everytime I try to run a fullscreen program (crossfire enabled) system gives me BSOD blaming atikmdag.sys. Both cards work fine if they are single or crossfire disabled. No components are overclocked. On desktop and with windowed apps system works fine.

So far I've tried:
-Clean install of win7 pro
-catalyst versions 11.7, 12.9, 12.10, 13.1, 13.4, 13.6 beta. Changing with official uninstall + driver sweeper in safe mode. Everyone has the same problem, so it probably isn't a driver issue,
-switching the card slots and crossfire bridge
-disabling ULPS
-checked the bios version is newest

My setup:
asus m4a79xtd evo
amd phenom II X6 1055t
4x2Gb generic ram
FSP au-600 psu
asus HD6850 (1. slot)
Club3D HD6850 (2. slot)
2x SSD
DVD+/-RW -drive

My thoughts are that maybe these two cards are somehow incompatible, maybe I should try flashing their BIOS? Also my psu isn't very overkill, but psu calculator gives a minimum of 483W for peak load of my setup, so I thought it should be ok.

I also measured the 12V rail voltage when it crashes: starting unigine on fullscreen drops the voltage from 12.03V to 11.99V. This should still be ok?

Thanks for any advice!

Okay, got it to work. I flashed both cards with newest BIOS available to them. I had to slightly underclock the cards to get them stable, but I think this might be a heat issue since the airflow isn't great. Thanks anyway!
