This is my recording studio and my gaming machine. I fall behind a bit on games and was wondering if you guys figured the best route? Sell the 660 ti's and spend the 500 towards maybe a titan? a 690? a 780? any other performance upgrades? I really love my machine by the way. The studio speakers are nice. Maybe I would get more out of them with a soundcard instead of the built in one w. my mobo? Thanks for the help

To me it doesn't look like there's much for you to upgrade to be honest.

A titan? hell no. And not for 500$ either. It's not good value. Neither is GTX 690.

You could go for a cheaper GTX 780 then and get nearly the same performance

as a much more expensive Titan. And you could upgrade to an Asus Xonar card

with 7.1 sound. Just make sure you have a good headset !

Water-cooling?
And I'm talking a proper custom loop, not baby Corsair Hydro water-cooling.

Agree with X79, if your going to go for a graphics upgrade get a 780. See if you can sell off your 660Ti's to make back some of the cost.

Sound card might be worth it, though which one to get I have no clue.

Mechanical keyboard?
I upgraded to my Ducky DK9008 Shine II (MX Brown switches) from a Thermaltake Challenger Pro (your keyboard except only one backlight colour) and it is much better to use.

Thanks for some responses. I didn't know about the Titan, so thanks for some insight. I just sold the 660tis for 200 each and that leaves me with 900. I'm guessing a 780 + sound card? I would upgrade the keyboard but its only 1 month old and I'd feel like a douche lol.

And if you're not comfortable making a custom loop, how much will it cost to get someone to do it for you professionally?

And I am interested in paying for someone to do a custom loop on my computer. Can someone vouch for someone willing to do that on this forum? I have no idea how to go about doing it so I would just like to find someone.

Would depend on who you go to, I imagine a shop that would offer such a service would outright rip you off, while your normal local computer shop would probably just look at you funny when you say the words "water", "computer" and "not broken" in the same sentence.
Find a fellow enthusiast, probably a $50 and a beer most likely, though your issue will be finding one.

My advice, if your not comfortable with assembling it yourself, dont get it. Because eventually something will happen to the rig and you will have to deal with it, having the added layer of complexity to it when you dont know how will just make it so much harder.
Though really, its not that hard to learn.

I suggest you start here with the water-cooling sticky, this will teach you a lot of the theory around water-cooling.

From there watch this video tutorial that shows the assembly of the loop.

After all that, you should know if your willing to go through with it.
