Hi chaps,
I am trying to build a gaming rig for multiboxing eve online. I have 14 accounts, and want to layer 8 of them in one group and 6 in the other, all done is isBoxer. This will probably work across 3-4 screens.
At the moment I can just about run 4 eve clients, with isBoxer, on my current machine. What I have is:
AMD Radeon HD 6670 gpu
Gigabyte G41MT-S2P motherboard
850 watt psu
2 x 1TB caviar green harddrive
4 GB ddr3
I only really include the above in the small chance it can be relavant in saving me spending money for a part I already have and can use.
I am on a pretty low budget, but I also have a few small advantages that might help save money:
I don't mind playing at low graphics settings.
I don't mind having the clients run across two computers.
Eve is basically designed with multiboxing in mind. It is very multithread friendly and you can run far more clients than most mmos on a normal pc.
My budget is about £500
