ADSL Wireless Router as AP connecting using Username and Password

Hi,
I have been using a broadband Wireless AP (D-Link DIR-524) to connect to the internet through a long UTP cable with RJ45 Ethernet jack.

As the picture depicts, the AP is using PPPoE with username and password to connect.

Now, I have to replace this AP with an ADSL+2 Wireless Router (D-Link DSL-2730u) to function just like the AP described above.

The question is: How should I configure the ADSL+2 Wireless Router to connect to the internet using PPPoE with username and password by connecting one of the LAN ports to that long UTP cable? :??:

EDIT:I know how to open configuration pages of them both, but I need to know how to configure the DSL-2730u to connect to the internet NOT using RJ11 port (I will leave this port disconnected), but using a UTP cable having one end connected to one of my router's RJ45 4 LAN ports at my side, and the other end connected to a switch that distributes internet service through a PPPoE(username/password) internet connection type. Please advise.

You can't, unless the router is one of the few that support this, generally high-end ones. Only router I've seen that can do it is the AVM Fritz!Box series, and some of Vigor's high-end ones have both a WAN and a DSL port. In most routers, all the WAN ports are connected together at hardware level using a switch, and can't be separated.

You could get a plain (cheaper) router/firewall, and use your DSL one as a WAP only.

You can't. You can, however, use the new router as a WAP and continue to use the old one as the actual router.

If there is an ADSL modem at the other end of your long ethernet cable, you can replace both devices with the new modem/router/WAP. If it's something like an ONT or cable modem, it won't work.

EDIT: Just reread your post - why do you need to replace the router? Both are 802.11n.

The problem is that the AP is no longer available for me, but I do have this ADSL+2 wireless router. The guy who installed the long UTP cable (across buildings) said it is connected to a switch on the other end, and he uses this technique to distribute paid internet service to many homes in my district, but he has never used ADSL router to function like AP before. So, I'm trying to use my router because otherwise I have to buy a new AP just like the first one.
