I am going to build a pc and I will use a GTX 780.So I was wondering using EVGA SuperNOVA NEX750 PSU or Professional series HX 750.I want to ask is which one will be better, and they have a 6 pin and a 6+2 connector can they be used for a GTX 780 as it requires 6 pin and a 8 pin connector.

More about : psu gtx 780

HX is more reliable than the EVGA.

Not to mention that the EVGA one has, like, 4 +12V rails? Ugh :pfff:

well more +12v rails is kinda good you know, its more safe. and most modern cards need 15-20 amps to run in reality.so you wont need those 60 amp PSU's. unless your giong with 3-4 way SLI.

honestly you will do very well with Corsair TX rather than HX. and and are you planing to overclock? cause 750 might be a little too overkill.

Maybe he want to do SLI/CF later? I suggest the TX also. Its price is equal to the TX one right now.

I will consider a Tx, how about a COOLERMASTER Silent Pro M2, 720 Watts and can a 6+2 connector be a problem as GTX 780 requires a 8 pin connector

A 6+2 pin connector equals s 8 pin connector. However, I'd not suggest Silent Pro M2.

HX 750 is enough to power 2 GTX780. HX850 might be a bit overkill.
