Think that covers it...Apart from cooling fans but i also have a couple of other questions you may be able to help with:

What type of fans will i need to be compatible with the aerocool touch?

Will my motherboard have enough usb connectors for the additional usbs on the case and fan controller? (4 USB2.0 and 2 USB3.0)

Thanks in advance for any help...

no cpu cooler? you're spending over $200 on a top end overclocking motherboard, and you're not getting a cpu cooler, which would then let you overclock?

BTW: I've played with and used the Aerocool touch 2000; you probably don't want it. Unless its sitting on the desk next to you, you won't be able to read the screen... it's got like a 45 degree visibility to it, you almost have to look at it head on to read it. furthermore it's not a true touch screen, it's just got softpoint buttons behind a colorful plastic cover, which are both hard to press, and off center. Overall it's sorta junky.

I know its not an answer to either of your questions.

But for purely gaming use, you could save yourself almost £100 and buy the i5-3570k, the i7 doesnt hold any significant edge for gaming except a lead of a few fps on things like battlefield 3 multiplayer.

What you do with that money is up to you, but if you were going to spend it anyway I'd seriously consider investing it in a beefier GPU. that much money would gain you severe performance increases (talking about an extra 20-30 fps in some games)

Sounds good to me the more i can spend on the GPU the better. Does the i5 still have good multitasking capabilities... As i will be running multiple programs at a timee aswell as gaming

by mulitple programs, do you mean, game + steam + web browser? or are you going for recording gameplay footage while streaming it? Each cpu range has specific advantages, tell us exactly what it needs to do in order of what priority it is to you :p

Yes game, steam and web browser don't plan on doing any recording so mainly those 3.

Gennaios - I will have a budget of around £300 for a Gpu maybe a little more if its worth it. Whats the bet one i can get in my price range

Two weeks ago I would have suggested this http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-video-card-02gp42678kr

a £270 gtx 670, already a fair improvement from the 660 ti

Now? It looking promising but I'd give it another two weeks at least before buying so all the reviews can be fleshed out, I'd recommend a gtx 770 at about £329 stock, although cheaper can be found as more makers release their versions with cheaper coolers (currently one of them cant remember which is bragging knocking about £40 off by replacing the cooler) This gen nvidia are currently being marked as having excessive cooler design, OP cooler because of the sheer metal casing causing bad ventilation, other makers are dispensing with the casing for easier cooling options.

Basically... as it stands the gtx 770 is the most fairly priced card nvidia has ever released in my eyes. and it performs the same as and better in some cases as the gtx 680 which is priced between £420 and £700 depending on version.

Its amazing performance for £30 over budget, but the the 670 will perform better than your 660TI and give you £30 left to play with.

yes it will effect fps, but are you using it as two together for a single large screen or are you gaming one monitor and using the other as a desktop display?

I will note that you can check most cards benchmarks at detail presets with multi monitor resolutions, notably the 770 performance on crysis 3 here, http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/geforce-gtx-770-gk104-review,review-32698-7.html

yea, it reads 26 fps, on 2k resolution... on ultra detail, on pretty much the most rig melting title out yet, for a single card, thats impressive. And it says thats unplayable, maybe if your used to games on 80-120 fps... personally id be dribbling as my current pc is running 9fps on medium detail on "The Hidden" on ****(think it was 1200 something)x 768 (its a strange setting) but i could check the precise numbers if needed ratio 4:3 which is a source sdk 2006 based game... 26 fps will be beautiful in comparison when i build my new pc :p

Its some serious graphic performance, and will max out most games for you.

On the other hand the 670 will do roughly the same but on "high" detail presets although i have missplaced the link to that bench temporarily, but it will max out skyrim with hd mods etc on a single monitor, your talking dropping to high on dual monitors.

How big a detail freak are you? I have to have pretty games when i want to play them. ;)

On a further note, see if you can find the maximum gpu size for that case, I cant find it so you may need to email zalman themselves. you have to be careful because the different cards in both models range from i think 9.5 inches to 11 inches. it would be killer to get a card that doesnt fit the case.

Yes i'll be using one for gaming the other for desktop at all times.. Will it greatly affect the fps or just a little..

Yes that does seem quite impressive think I'm going to go with the GTX 770, only thing is which model lol. And yes I'm quite a stickler for detail haha. I'll have a look now let's hope it will fit.

What specs are you currently running and what are you hoping to upgrade to just out of interest?

you take a smaller fps hit using a desktop display and a game screen as opposed to stretching the game over two monitors. it will probably manage ultra or at the least, high settings on two screens, barring crysis 3... it doesnt matter what card you use, short of a titan your going to need two gpu's to max that game at multi monitor set ups. I cant say what size hit, because it scales with the resolution you end up using, ie larger the number the larger the fps drop.

Currently rocking an abyssmal set up of a Celeron E3200 dual core 2.4ghz + g31/33 chipset with 4gb of DDR2 RAM of which only 3 installed... and windows 7 32bit <-- on a 64 bit capable cpu. My dad's design from 2009 (it was poor even then). I'm not sure he had any idea what He was doing, the system specs dont even recognise the motherboard, which i finally located in the asus database (its not even listed on the website, i had to ask them to email me the specs), and learned today that the motherboard is causing an effective underclock of almost 50%... although this might be reparable, if I can get my dad to permit me to alter "his baby".

Now I can afford to build my own I'm aiming for the i5-3570k AsRock Extreme3 with 8gb of corsair vengeance. A 750gb seagate momentus xt Hybrid Drive with a gtx 770, trouble is now i have to pick a new PSU and Case cos the 770 wont fit the original choice. :p personal error xD at least I realised it as I went to order rather than after :p

Oh... and OEM windows 7 64 bit...
Aha i almost forgot, currently (unless i get a bargain on a part) a lite-on ihas 124-04 disc drive... cheap and nasty, because its pretty much only going to be used for installing windows :L

Designed to last a while, plenty of room for overclocking, and I can easily double the RAM if needed, and ofc lots of space to SLI when it slows down in a couple of years ;)
