Could someone point me to a guide or explane how to set one lan for the server and one for my internet connection?

You will need to set up static IP addresses on your two LAN interfaces. For this example, I will use 192.168.2.2 and 192.168.2.3. Then when you configure your router, you need to port-forward FTP traffic (port 21) to the IP address of the interface you want to use for your FTP server traffic.

Source: Any
Destination: 192.168.2.3
Original Service Port: TCP Port 21
Translated Service Port: TCP Port 21 (original)

Every router is different for configuring port forwarding, or NAT, rules. And you may also need to configure firewall rules on the router as well as your computer to allow traffic through on port 21 to the proper destination IP address.
