i have two VGA monitors and want multi-monitor functionality (not duplicate display). Ideally i would find a low profile card with two VGA outputs, as my computer (an older Dell) is low profile. suggestions? thanks very much

get a card that has vga, dvi & hdmi, use the vga and then use a dvi to vga adapter to create an additional vga output

get a card that has the dms59(?) output and split that to dual vga outputs

thank you - can you (or anyone) recommend a LOW PROFILE card? that's the issue - i need a card that fits inside my computer.
There are many cards that are "low profile ready", which means that to make them low profile, you need to remove the VGA output....which defeats the purpose. i need a low profile card that has two outputs. I did find one that had a DVI and HDMI, but when i got converters for both (to VGA) it does not work.

thank you flank2; the problem with the one you suggested is that if i use the VGA bracket, then there is only one VGA output. i need a card with two or the ability to go to multi-monitor. My understanding is that a single VGA output with a Y-cable will not do it.

that card has 3 outputs, hdmi dvi and vga, 2x low profile brackets are included 1 for the hdmi and dvi and the 2nd for vga, taking up 2 low profile expansion slots in your case if you choose to use both (which is your case is needed).
then connect 1 monitor directly via vga and another monitor also with vga but use a dvi to vga adapter on the video card.
