I was wondering If I should swap my current FX-8120 out for a 8350 and get another 7950 or swap the board and CPU out for an i5 3570k and Asus Sabertooth Z77?

Current system:

CPU - AMD FX-8120 8-Core OC @ 4.1GHz (Not cutting it anymore)
Mobo - Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 (Great board, I'm happy with it)
GPU - XFX Radeon HD 7950 Double D (Great card, but I'd like even more performance)
Cooler - Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
PSU - Corsair CX600 (Getting a more powerful PSU soon)
Case - Corsair 650D
Ram - (2x4GB) Patriot Viper Xtreme Division 4 8GB
SSD - OCZ Vertex 4 128GB
HDD - 1TB Western Digital Caviar Black

You wont get much of a performance boost with the i5. Don't really recommend dual gpu because of the microstutter isseu.
Even if you want to go intel get haswell because socket 1155 is dead.

Agreed. FX8350 is better than i5 3570k and GTX780 pwns. If you can't afford for new GPU, just get FX8350.

Is that your opinion or do you actually have benchmarks that back up this claim? Because none I've really seen say otherwise.

Get the i5 but the Sabertooth is garbage and way overrated. The plastic armor does nothing but trap heat and recirculate it. You can definitely get a less expensive motherboard and go for a GTX 780.

Already have a motherboard that I'm happy with.
