The following is my build:

Windows 7 64-bit SP1
AMD Phenom II X6 1055T
CORSAIR Vengeance 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) (4 of them)
ASUS M4A87TD EVO (AM3)
EVGA Nvidia GTX 550ti
WD Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s

When I am playing Tera Online the game suddenly get a weird "lag" spike and it stars getting "choppy".

I am using "lag" and "choppy" for the lack of better words to explain this. I know it isn't my ISP, I went the extra length of trying playing under another ISP and it still did the same thing.

How do I avoid having this "lag"?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

FPS from 75 drops all the way to 4-5, suddenly with no reason.

It is not affecting any of my other games (i.e. Final Fantasy XI, I play other MMORPGs and no problems).

Believe or not, I did a clean reinstall of everything, wiped the HDD and began from zero. Tried multiple combinations of drivers and updates of windows. Nothing, thus I am asking.

Hope this helps.

The reason I am asking for help is because I have asked other players and nobody seems to suffer lag at the moment I do.

I have even located some players from the same area as me (10 to 20 miles radius) and they don't have the issues I have neither.

I was afraid of that too so I installed a liquid cooling on the CPU and, since then, the worst it gets is 90 or so during exhaustive moments.

90C? That is WAY too high. Reapply thermal paste and reseat the cooler.

Sorry, should had been clearer. Not C, F. Darn habit of automatically trying to convert C to F.

I may had done the conversion wrong but after I got the Corsair Hydro (can't remember model) the temperature has never been an issue.
