Im planning to upgrade my PC i decided to get Intel i5-3570k with motherboard ASRock z77 pro3 / extreme 3 and for the graphics card i already have sapphire 7770 . I used to have 4gb ( 2 x 2 )of 1333 Mhz. Now i read that the motherboard supports till 2800 Mhz in OC and 1600 in normal. Also the i5 support 1333 and 1600 Mhz.
im confused wether i stick anther (2 x 2 gb ) of 1333 Mhz or i buy new (4 x 2) 1866 or 1600 Mhz and dump the old ones.

knowing that i will be using this PC for gaming & internet surfing 80% of the time, may be a little recording and video editing .I think 1600 will be better as it is what the CPU support (( tell me if im wrong ))....

Well how do i know the latency stock, is it written on the Ram it self ? I was thinking i might stick anther 2 x 2 1600 Mhz with the older 1333 where each on 2 Rams are on one channel . Will this cause that they all work on 1333 Mhz or each channel will work normally ?

its written on mine, and if you stick 2 different clock speeds they will go to 1333 since thats your lowest

This tool reads the SPD (the little rom storage on the stick) and tells you all about it:

As guitargod213 says, it will run with the lowest frequency, but that doesn't matter. The voltage is more important. Standard is 1.5V, but some faster sticks need 1.65V and that typically causes trouble with different sticks.

So its prefered to put anther 2x2 of 1333 Mhz if i want to save money or buy a whole new 8 ( 4 x 2 ) 1600 Mhz.
Well my last question is : Is there a noticeable performance between different Mhz , like 5-10 FPS difference ?
