Hello all!
The past few weeks I've decided to make the switch from console to PC and I've come to the conclusion that it's much more cost effective to build my own rather than buy. I've done a lot of late-night researching and this is the build that I've roughly settled upon:

Case:
Cooler Master Storm Enforcer

CPU:
Intel i5-3570k Ivy Bridge
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116504

Motherboard:
Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128545

Graphics Card:
MSI GeForce GTX660
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127699

RAM:
Corsair Vengeance (Low Profile) 8GB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233309

HDD:
Western Digital Black 1TB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136533

PSU:
Corsair GS800 800W
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139047

Optical Drive:
Asus DRW-24BIST

I've been working with a budget of $1200 and I've squeezed in just under that after I threw in a Cooler Master 212 EVO and a basic Logitech keyboard and Mouse along with the Windows 7 64 bit OS. I wanted to compile a nice rig that would be prime for upgrading.

I've gone onto PCPartPicker and they said that everything is compatible, but I'd like to get the opinion of a couple of people to reassure me. Again, this is the first time I've built a computer and I want to make sure it goes smoothly! Any building tips and tricks are greatly appreciated as well.

Thanks.
