Hey everyone i just oc'd my 2 evga gtx 670's and i noticed that my cards were getting up to 81 degrees Celsius. I have the fan speed in EVGA's precision on auto and after the benchmarks i would see that the fan speed is usually at 45-55%(it can go up to 80%). Whats a safe temp to keep my cards at while in prolonged game sessions, i play BF3 ALOT. Also would it be safe to run my fan speed at 65-70% at all times? i get around 70-74 degrees Celsius when i run benchmarks at that fan speed.

80C is fine, but I wouldn't go above that. It's best to make your own profile, play BF3 a bit and see what fan percentage it takes to get 80C, then just make your own in EVGA Precision that corresponds to that. Just keep in mind that ambient temperature directly relates to the temperature of your GPU, so if your room is 21C and your card is 80C, then the room warms up to 23C, your card is going to go up to 82C.

I'd say 70-74C is pretty good for benchmarking. Especially in SLI, they're running pretty cool. I like to keep my single card around 65C. Just make sure you always have steady airflow and keep it all clean.
