So I just recently recieved:

And bought this ASUS monitor:

When I boot it up first of all, the HDMI and VGA settings do not work what so ever when I plug them in.
The only one that works is the DVI (That's what it is called right?). And when I put it on the highest resolution it does not fit the screen. I have searched everywhere for an explanation but cannot seem to find one. It will not stretch to fit the screen and I have tried everything. Please help!
