thoughts on msi mobo

Whats everyones thoughts on msi z77 and z87 mobo. They seem to be cheaper than asus and asrock. Is it a case of you get what you pay for or are they good quality boards?

Should I go for asus/asrock instead which is about 40 dollars more?

Which model, to be specific? "You get what you pay for" applies for almost every situation, thou, but each brands has the upper hand on one or two aspect. MSI boards often have good overclocking ability, but the amount of outputs and connectors is decent.
