Hey, this is going to be my first PC build. I am aiming to build a high/medium end gaming PC. This PC will also be used for video editing as well. I have went ahead and chosen all the parts. My question is to will this system work once built. I already have the monitor, keyboard, mouse etc... so they wont affect the cost.

These are the parts that I have chosen:

Total cost: £1057.48

It would be helpful if anyone could tell me how to make it a bit cheaper. Some where around £950 because this was supposed to be a budget build under £900 but it seems to have exceeded that here.

Cut out the water cooler .. its not needed ..
Also .. you can opt for a cheaper Mobo and cut out the SSD. It is also very expensive and its priority is low.
Because you are building a PC, you can add SSD, etc any time you want .. after a month or two ^^

Don't go for too fancy case .. that is just for showing off and is total waste .. get a good quality one without LEDs in red and blue .. :D

You can effectively cut out the costs that way.

Kept your case as I think you like it. Managed to get you a SSD just for your OS too.

EDIT: Just seen you want one under £950 oops. Just get a 1TB Western Digital HDD then and save the £50.
