where am i supposed to connect the rear exhaust fan on my computer? the chasis fan or the power fan on the motherboard? both are 3 pins.

or am i supposed to connect it to a 4 pin molex which goes straight into my power supply. what do most people do?

You can connect it to a motherboard fan header, directly to the power supply, or to a fan controller.

so it dosent really matter right? im just gonna connect mine to the power fan because chassis fan can be controlled through uefi and there no point of controlling the rear speed of the exhaust fan. thx

If you connect it directly to the PSU, it will run at 100% all the time.
