Hi,

I am Sai from India. I need help and advice as I am not an expert in computer hardware. I want to build a Computer for Trading purpose. A High end one, as the way I trade markets involve lot of data crunching and multi monitor setup. Here's what I have in mind....

1) I7 3930k ( more than enough speed and L2 and L3 cache )

2) Asus IV EXtreme ( From the reviews I have seen its one of Top 3 )

3) Crosair Dominator Platinum 32 GB 1866 MHz ( Not sure but seems pretty good)

4) OCZ 128gb Vector Series ( For sheer speed and reliability )

5) Galaxy Geforce GTX 770 ( wth kepler parallel computing GPU architecutre, will
help in calculations, initially 2 and in few month 4 cards for 16 monitor support.)

6) EVGA SuperNOVA NEX1500w or Crosair Pro AX 1200w ( Not sure )

7) Corsair Obsidian Series 900D or Thermaltake Level 10 GT LCS Super Gaming Tower. ( I want to have Liquid cooling for cpu, vga (4 if possible or least 2, and also for ram if possible if not will go for fans of crosair )

8) I am totally clueless about the liquid cooling solutions for the cpu, vga and ram combined pack.

This is what I need system for ::

I need to run 3 different software's involving lot of number crunching and calculations. Moreover, I have 16 monitors that will be operated by 4 different persons for viewing charts, ( thanks to Teamplayer 3 ) So there will be lot of charts to be displayed.

Kindly suggest be best options available and am not worried abt cost as long as it is useful for next 2 to 3 years.

sincerely,
Sai.

u don't need that much....save some money
get a 4670K (and a Z87 motherboard to go with it)
if u wanna run 16 monitors (i doubt that's possible even with 4 770's) , if 4 770's can run it so can 4 640's (u don't need high-res monitors), and 4 770's wont even fit in a single motherboard, 770's are huge, each takes the space of 2 smaller cards
about cooling systems....u don't need liquid cooling and stuff unless u're overclocking, and that too heavily, or else u should be fine with the stock coolers that come with ur CPU and GPU
again 32 GB RAM is overkill.....16GB is more than enough for everything....
though seeing ur requirements i would rather say u go with 4 separate lower end PCs

Hi, Jinayhvora,

Thank you, very much for your valuable inputs. Am already looking at the alternatives you have suggested. I am very particular abt 16 monitor, and the reason I choose 770 is not just for resolution, it have cuda 1500 gpu units that will help CPU in parallel computing. From specs of ASUS motherboard I have seen that 4 770's can be installed, will look into that; If that fails then will go for NVS 510 low profile cards with 4 outputs each.

I was under impression that water cooling will be better than air cooling system and will help in longevity of computer parts.
