WD Caviar Green 2 TB (WD20EZRX) Interface

i have intel core 2 duo e4500
Intel D945GCR
My point is my motherboard is 3.0GBPs and this hard disk is 6.0 GBPs so is it need to set jumper to hard disk or cn i use as it is ?

You can just plug and play. The SATA 6.0 GB/s is backwards compatible with SATA 3.0 GB/s interface. Your BIOS will do everything for you. As long as the drivers install automatically and you create and format a new volume with disk manager (search in Windows for Create and format hard disk partitions) it will work fine.

Nope, that was only a concern with the IDE interface.

there is a thing with SATA interface called backward-compatibility as well as forward-compatibility, given your scenario WD20EZRX will work just fine without any jumper setting simply plug-n-play.
In some cases where system board controller does not automatically communicate with a faster drive interface, one has to manually set the jumpers, but thats not your case!
