Red dots and texture flickering

Hello guys! I recently got a new computer but I have had some problems. I sometimes get red dots appearing on the screen for about 3 seconds. If im in a game then the game minimizes. It only happens rarely but it is really bugging me.

Things I have tried so far:
Reinstalled graphics drivers/installed new ones/ different versions
Reinstalled windows
Used different cables/moniters
Measured gpu temperature in game to about 45 degrees

PC specs:
i5 3570k
Msi gtx 660 ti 3gb/factory overclocked
8 gb corsair vengeance
tx750 psu
z77 msi mpower

I have also noticed some weird texture flickering in game and bad draw distance. I recorded it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cv2ILXMb494&feature=youtube_gdata

Does any of you know what I could do to fix this? Could it be a faulty card or bad factory overclock? Thank you for helping guys! :)

I have been having a similar issue with my Vapor-X HD7970 GHz Edition 3GB, I haven't had the red dots but I have had ingame flickering very similar to that seen in the video - Most obviously occurring in Sanctuary on Borderlands 2.

Unlikely to be a Graphics Card issue on my part at least, I requested a replacement and it has had no effect...

OP, could you see if you have any problems such as flickering or rippling in a FurMark benchmark test?

the gameplay seems like theres no problem in it. Other than the red dot? do you experience any other problem? Like crashing , screen lagging and etc?

Hahaha! Anyway, definitely a problem. Have you overclocked anything? CPU pr GPU?

Try downclock your card and see what happens . Hmm

No I havn't overclocked but it comes factory overclocked. Dunno if thats the problem and I dont know if I feel comfortable underclocking (Im not really into overclocking/underclocking). Should I RMA it? :/

Don't worry. Underclocking physically can't damage the card, it would technically prolong its lifespan. If you Underclock and the problems dissapear it is a faulty card, if they persist the problem is elsewhere.

That's what I thought when my problem arose but seeing as I have replaced my card this is clearly not the case.

From what I now understand, graphical errors can be caused by:
- Unstable CPU Overclocks
- Unstable GPU Overclocks
- Faulty Memory (RAM)
- Insufficient power supply
- Faulty PSU
- Faulty PCIe slot

Since you haven't overclocked that rules those out, I'd suggest going into your BIOS and making sure your 3v, 5v, and 12v values for your Power Supply are all around 3v, 5v and 12v which can rule out your PSU (don't worry, 750W is more than enough for your system)

If that doesn't work, try reseating your GPU in a secondary PCIe slot on your MoBo if you have one.

Have a look at this, it's what I have been going by:
http://www.evga.com/support/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=58581

If none of those work I suggest going for a RMA but then again, I have gone through all this and got a new card, still to no avail

I have now:
Checked my PSU voltage output which should be fine
Did a memtest with no errors
Tested GPU with OCCT, both gpu memtest and stresstest.

No errors anywhere :/ Hmmm what should I do :(

The fact is though:
- You have checked your PSU
- You have checked your CPU
- You have checked your RAM

There isn't much else it could be? Have you tried a CMOS/BIOS reset?
