Hi , i searched from ebay to build new pc and i found 6 gb ddr3 ram but at description :The OCZ PC3-15000 triple-channel memory kits are designed specifically for the Intel® Core™ i7 processor / Intel® X58 Express Chipset. Optimized for the Core i7’s triple channel mode, these new 6GB kits ensure optimal performance via an ideal combination of low voltage requirements, speed, and latency.

i will use asus sabertooth 990fx r2 and AMD cpu ram it will work?

Your motherboard is set up for dual channel operation, Yes you can get that ram and it will work but (there is a "but")... one module will be quite lonely because it will run in single channel mode while the other two get to enjoy dual channel operation (dual channel is better). Best to purchase a two module "dual channel" kit

:welcome:

As far as what I can see from the memory specification, it should work. Having said that, there might be a possibility this might not work as OCZ site states what you mentioned in the post -

FYI, anything above 1333MHz will not work in AMD 100 series CPU. Note**: Due to CPU spec., AMD 100 series CPUs support up to DDR3 1066MHz. With ASUS design, this motherboard can support up to DDR3 1333MHz.

Also your system has only 4 slots, so I do not see the need for triple channel memory kit, instead you could get a pair of matched memory modules. Btw, there is no such thing called dual channel / triple channel or quad channel memory, these are just terms used for marketing purposes by the manufacturers and to make it easier for users to find matched memory.

Cheers, mate ;)

Well, that's good. The memory (DDR3-1600MHz) should work just fine. Good luck, mate!! :)

That's an 1866 set, not 1600 and you may have problems getting the 8320 to carry three sticks of 1866, the 8320 is rated up to 1866 at 1 stick per channel. To get all three to run together, will prob require some advance timing changes along with increases to the DRAM and CPU/NB voltage
