Hey guys, I was just wondering if I could get some opinions on a CPU. And possibly Motherboard.

I'm planning on upgrading both my CPU and Motherboard at the same time as they're causing my graphics card to bottleneck, I've been recommended both AMD and Intel items and i've watched reviews and looked at benchmarks for both, people suggest different things.

Intel Option:
CPU - £169.19 inc. VAT
Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivy Bridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor
CPU Link
Motherboard - £35.99 inc VAT (Originally £50 inc VAT)
Foxconn H67M Intel H67 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard
Motherboard Link
Total price for both: £205.18

AMD Option:
CPU - £148.79 inc. VAT
AMD (Piledriver) FX-8350 4.00GHz (4.20GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 8-Core Processor
CPU Link
Motherboard - £187.99 inc. VAT
Asus Crosshair V Formula Z AMD 990FX (Socket AM3+) DDR3 Motherboard
Motherboard Link
Total price for both: £336.58

Current computer specs:
CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1055T 2.8Ghz
GPU: MSI Radeon HD 7870 OC 2GB GDDR5
Motherboard: M4A88T-M
PSU: OcUK Crusade 950W Dual-Rail High Efficiency '80 Plus'
RAM: G.Skill RipjawsZ 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800 C9 1600Mhz Quad Channel Kit
Along with 2 Seagate barracuda HDD's, 1TB + 2TB.

I'd also like to add that my computer will be used for multiple things, including Gaming, Video Editing, Animation/Video Rendering, Multi-tasking and Graphics Design.

I wouldn't buy a Foxconn board.

Is there any Motherboard you would recommend? As I'll end up having the money either way as AMD costs a lot more.
If not, AMD it is.

Also, which CPU gives more? Performance-wise. It'd be used more for gaming but will also be used for the other things listed in the post.

Hm, alright. I've watched many reviews on both, they both do seem good.

Which one would you recommend for my uses?
