So lately I have had a problem where I would be watching Youtube videos and all of a sudden the internet wouldn't work only for my browser (Google Chrome) but it will work for all other programs such as Steam and Spotify. The weird thing is, if I were to reboot my computer, I am able to use the browser perfectly but will happen again if I start to watch more Youtube videos. So far I've noticed the problem only occurs when I am on Youtube and not anywhere else. I am able to watch videos from other sites perfectly. I have no idea what the problem is and I would really appreciate it if someone would help me.

The problem will start randomly for example, I will be watching a video and the buffering stops and thats when the internet to my browser will just cut off. I have also ran a virus scan using AVG and Malwarebytes and I got nothing.

So can anybody help me out? This thing is getting really annoying how I have to restart my computer for the internet to work again...

Also I found out the problem usually starts when I skip to a certain part in a video.

I had the same problem. I resolved it by disabling the video accelerator in AVG

If you have AVG firewall or internet security you're going to need to disable AVG Acceleration / AVG accelerator. It's located in the options menu under advanced settings. Then on the left expand web browser protection and click online shield or link scanner (it'll be under one of those members). Simply un-check the box next to Enable AVG accelerator and reboot your browser. If you're having issues locating this option, Google the version you have and find its location.
