I have an issue and thought I would ask the "all-knowing" community
I have an LG N4B2NF4 8TB Network Attached Storage that failed, but the drives are all good it is a RAID 5.

The question is can I take the 4 (2TB each) drives and put in a different brand NAS configured as RAID 5 and access my information? Help!!

What brand would you recommend?

Thank you in advance

If you can, find another NAS with the same model number. You're very likely to lose your data if you're trying to use a different NAS. A different controller might not be able to read the array and will just mess up your data even more.

Thank you, I should never have purchased an LG product. I am getting error boot Boot Failure [1C_00]
Which means fan failure, but when I turn it on, fan seems to run OK, any thoughts?
