Volume icon disappeared from taskbar

I went into the Control Panel to add the volume icon back ont my taskbar but it was greyed out thus not giving me the option of selecting it. Is there another way to get the volume back on my taskbar?
Please Help!

Dear Guanhao,
I downloaded the audio driver as you suggested and it worked! My volume icon is now available again.
