Hey everyone, this is my first post on Tom's. I was curious, i know that there has been cases in which bottle necking occurs due to having a decent CPU but really not enough RAM. Well my question is can the opposite happen? i have my 3770k at @ 4.29GHz and 32 GB of ram, do you think the full 32 aren't being utilized due to the CPU? Or am i probably running at full capacity?
Thank you guys.

the ram is not being utilized as ur are not stressing the ram to the point that its needs to use all 32gb. the cpu is apart of a ram bottleneck but thats not ur situation. Most applications dont use 32gb of ram, unless u know the program ur using needs its. Games barely need 8gb of ram and 16gb is good for the average user with edition and rendering etc. Win shows u ur ram useage and win7/8 use barely 2gb to run and other applications massively less, again matters on the program/app

Basically nothing you do will use more than 16gb. Games won't use more than 8gb. I'm not sure what you mean as bottlenecking, you haven't even told us in what scenario you use the computer. If you use the computer for email, I can tell you your not bottlenecking.

When I'm Playing BF3 at max, for some reason my memory use jumps from 1.4 GB to 7.2 GB. Is that normal?
