Hi everybody, how are you doing?
I've got a new question and I wonder if you could help me...
I'm about to upgrade my pc, and I'm in doubt about which GPU could my PSU handle.
It's an Aerocool 500W (real) 80+ [12v1:25A 12v2:20A]/ combined 444W

System specs:
i5 3570
2x 4 gb ddr3 1600mhz
sata3 "green" 1tb 5400/7200rpm
ssd 64gb
"normal" case, nothing much energy draining

I've been told it would surely handle a 7850 and maybe a 7870. (2gb stock OC)
But as you know it's always good to have many opinions so here I am asking.

Thank you very much in advance!!

Your PC in peak situations would pull from 460w to 485w with a 7870, depending on the motherboard and other peripherals such as card readers and others. Having said that, theoretically you are fine, but as thasan1 stated before, that brand on the PSU is not the best out there. If you trust it go for it, but I would want a larger safety margin.
