Scratched back of asrock extreme 3 z77

I was putting in a new hard drive and doing some rewiring. I went to cut the end of a ziptie, the knife got away from me and this happened:

What should i do now? Other than have someone kick me in the balls for being an idiot.

If it doesn't work, time for a new mobo and a swift kick to the .....

I would be very careful about firing up and potentially zapping other components. I tend to be careful that way. Personally, I would write it off.

Yeah that is a pretty bad cut, I wouldn't start it with anything expensive attached.

Hi,
you can see where the traces have been cut so I would say the board is unstable at the least. You could try to boot without anything installed and see what beep code you get at startup, if you feel adventurous you could try to boot with CPU, the broken traces might have been for a specific part of the Board, can you see where they go to (like to the CPU or to the DDR) you might get away with it but it take some doing. Doesn't look good though, maybe you could repair it with a rear-window defrost repair kit, I have had success with them before, but not as bad as this.
