Installing Windows 7 over the top of Linux on an ssd

I had a bit of a hoo hah with my new pc and ended up with the wrong os version of windows. In the meantime till it is sorted, is it possible to install ubuntu onto my ssd and then once I have the right copy of home premium 64bit install this and delete the linux os. Alternatly is it possible to wipe the ssd clean to brand new as im unlikely to actually save anything important till I have Windows 7 anyway.

  1. Yes. When you install Windows, simply have the install routine delete all existing partitions, and use the full disk space.
  2. Ok Thankyou for the quick answer :)
