9400GT and 9500GT SLI question

So i have two graphics cards, a 9400GT and a 9500GT. I also have a motherboard that is compatible with SLI. I was wondering if it is possible to SLI these two cards together for better performance. Are they compatible? Will I need to use an SLI bridge?

It's probably not going to work, since there's quite a difference in the cards. But since they're based on the same GPU, you could give it a shot. I mean, you have the required hardware.

You don't have to and can't use a SLI bridge, as the 9400 GT doesn't have a connector for it.
